Russian militants carried out an ISIS-style execution after torturing and beating a drug dealer who is now believed to be dead.
The
'punishment' happened in the town of Communar, Donetsk Oblast, in
southern Ukraine, which is currently occupied by pro-Russian rebels.
A shocking video of the man being tortured has gone viral on the internet.
It shows
the man begging for his life and tied with red tape to a wooden post as
he is repeatedly whipped with electrical cables.
His back is heavily bruised and bloody, which suggests he had whipped for a very long time before the video was taken.
The
whipping was carried out by a militant identified as 'Olkhon' who came
to Communar from the central Russian city of Novosibirsk to support
Ukrainian pro-Russian rebels.
A voice in the background of the video says: 'The f****** film shooting has started. This is the punishment of a drug dealer.'
