HIV carrier rapes 15yrs old all night

One Abubakar Atiku, an HIV carrier, is among 10 suspects arrested by the Nasarawa State Police Command.

 Atiku was arrested at Mararaba in Karu for raping a 15-year-old girl who used to sell sachets water. It was gathered that the girl didn’t return that day and was later found naked in Atiku’s apartment.

Other sets of alleged rapists are Iliyasu Mohammed and Shaibu Isa of Rimi Uku, Lafia. These two were also alleged of raping a 12-year-old girl in an uncompleted building. The rape was said to have occurred on February 5, 2016.

Another set of those in police custody are five suspects who specialized in robbing hotels.

The suspects, Zaccheaus Sunday, 23, John Israel, 22, Blessing Thomas and one Christian were arrested at Masaka in Karu after they held security guards hostage at a hotel in Masaka and robbed some guests.

Items recovered from them included, one locally made pistol, video player, five phones, N300, 000 and a Toyota Hilux.

Also paraded is one Felix Tochukwu, who conspired with a school teacher of Pilot Science School Mararaba to rape a 16-year-old student after getting her drunk at a birthday party.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Umar Ismaila Numan, said preliminary investigations showed the suspects committed the crimes. Numan called on members of the public to always assist the command with information.
