Saudi Motor Park in the Oshodi area of
Lagos State boiled on Monday after angry commercial drivers and market
thugs clashed with officials of the Lagos State Taskforce on
Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit.
Our correspondent gathered that during
the clash, which started around 7am, a paramilitary officer working with
the task force, Uzan Rildwan, was stabbed in the head and also
sustained injuries in the hand.
The officer reportedly lost two of his fingers during the attack.Our correspondent learnt that the clash was as a result of the task
force’s seizure of six commercial buses said to have violated the state
