Gunmen kill school proprietor in Benue
Despite efforts of the police to rid Benue State of criminals, criminal activities are still on the upsurge as gunmen on Monday shot dead the proprietor of Kpav Comprehensive College, Mr Kenneth Mbayev Kpav.
The incident occurred in Katsina Ala Local Government Area of the state.
The proprietor was killed at his house about 10:30pm. A witness said that the gunmen, numbering about five, came with sophisticated guns, adding that no other member of the family sustained injuries during the attack.
According to the witness, Kpav later died at a private hospital in Katsina-Ala.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Deputy Superintendent Daniel Ezeala, who confirmed the incident, said the proprietor was killed by unknown gunmen.
