It was learnt that the arrest of Isaac from Okaria village in Abaomege, Onicha Local Government and Nwali popularly known as Machine Gun from Idembia Ezza South Local Government, led to a wild jubilation in Abaomege and Onueke. He said: “Chioma resisted all efforts by Sunday Nwali to have carnal knowledge of her and in annoyance, the suspect, Nwali, pulled a locally-made pistol and shot her dead. He then dragged Sandra to a nearby bush, raped her and vanished.”
The commissioner said that the other two accomplices, who were later identified by Sandra, were arrested and charged to court for conspiracy and murder.
