Angry wife stabs police husband to death

An angry house wife has been arrested in Akure, Ondo State for stabbing her police husband to death during a fight. 
The policeman, Inspector Israel Omowa, serving with ‘Fast Strike Squad,’ was stabbed to death by his wife, Wunmi, while they were fighting at home.
This event occurred barely 48 hours after a wife of a police officer, Roseline, alleged that her husband, Michael Amedu, whom she had been married to for 21years, had turned her into a punch bag. Eye witnesses said that the Inspector’s death was as a result of minor dispute in their resident at Olowolagba area, along Akure- Owo Road.
The minor dispute however escalated, leading to exchange of heated words. One of the eye witnesses said: “The Inspector’s wife, during the dispute, dashed into the kitchen in the heat of the quarrel. She returned with a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband on the neck. The deceased started bleeding and fell on the ground. Some neighbours raised the alarm and rushed the Inspector to a nearby private hospital in the area.”
