Men of the Ondo State police command have rescued a 25-year old Chinese,
Jiang Peng Fei who was abducted in Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area
of Ondo State.
The police also arrested two suspects, Adegbayi Akinmusayo and Lucky Akinnuoye over the kidnapping.
It was gathered that the suspects had visited the plywood company of the
Chinese national JHX Plywood factory which is located at Akinfosile in
Omotoso area of Ore two days earlier having posed as one of their
customers who wanted to buy plywood.
Unknown to the staff of the factory, the suspects actually came on a
surveillance of the offices especially that of the target nickname ”
Ginger” by his workers.
Dependable police source said that three suspected kidnappers stormed
the office of the Chinese national at about 5pm and whisked him away to
an unknown destination.
