Panic as kidnappers disappear with 22 children

No fewer than 22 children have been abducted in different parts of Benue State within the last two months.

The ages of the kids kidnapped ranged between four and five. This increasing disappearance of children in the state has thrown parents into panic. Some of the parents explained that their kids were kidnapped at different points.
A mother of three, Mrs. Ngodoo Paul Amiase, said: “My four-year-old son, Tersoo, a pupil of Jewel Model School, Gboko Road, Makurdi was last seen on August 29, 2015.
My son accompanied me to the market on that fateful day and I saw him playing with his mates. Before I knew it, he had disappeared! He was playing close to the market. He left my shop at about 4pm, but by 5pm, when he usually returns, I didn’t see him. I went looking for him.
A young girl told me that she saw my son with a woman whom she couldn’t identify. When she asked my son where he was going, the woman answered; she said she was my sister. She said that I asked her asked to go and buy Bobo Juice for my son.”
