A 29-year-old Abiola Lateef, has been stabbed to death and his friend stabbed on the neck by suspected hoodlums during a birthday party at Mushin area of Lagos State.
 
Lateef, a motorcyclist rider, was said to have been attacked and stabbed to death on his way to buy sachet water.
Lateef ’s friend, Ridwan, who was with him during the attack, was stabbed on the neck, but survived to tell the story. Lateef was stabbed on the shoulder, neck, stomach and buttocks. The reason for the attack is yet unknown.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, has ordered his men to fish out the killers of Lateef.
Eye witnesses said that a guest at a birthday party in the area, fingered Lateef and before the victim knew what was happening, other thugs at the party swooped on him.
