I pay girls N10,000 to dance naked –Club manager

The Ebonyi State Government at the weekend shut down Brifina Garden Hotel, located on Waterworks Road, Abakaliki, over pornography, prostitution, sodomy and sales of illicit substances.
Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to Governor Dave Umahi on Security, Ali Odefa, explained that when information got to him on the illicit activities going on in the hotel, he immediately invited the manager.
He also invited managers of other clubs. Odefa told them that the government was not happy with activities going on in their hotels. The SSA said that he used the opportunity to warn the managers to stop such practices, especially the use of naked ladies for dancing. He said: “Two out of the club managers invited obeyed, but Brifina manager did not. Despite our warnings, she allowed her girls to perform pornographic acts.
She still continued to allow the use of illicit drugs. This made us to wield the big stick.” Manager of the hotel, Chineye Okorie, said the hotel was for entertaining people. She said she used to pay each performer N10,000 to dance naked in the club on Wednesdays and N15,000 on Friday nights.
