A former Political Adviser to the ex-Vice President Namadi Sambo, Abba Dabo, yesterday told a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja that he collected N25 million from the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, to counter negative publicity on former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Dabo, who is the Prosecution Witness Seven in the ongoing trial of Metuh, said he has since returned the N25 million to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). EFCC is prosecuting Metuh and Destra Investments Limited, on seven counts of fraudulent collection of N400 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) on November 22, 2014 and money laundering involving cash transaction to the tune of $2 million.
