Five-month pregnant housewife, Mrs. Habiba Shaba Ibrahim, has been
declared missing in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Ibrahim,
who also has a three-year-old child, was said to have left home at
Kubwa area of the FCT on Saturday to the main town in her car.
While
returning home, her car reportedly developed a mechanical fault.
When the fault could not be rectified, she decided to park the car at Gwarinpa in one of their relatives’ place.
It is feared that Ibrahim might have been abducted for ransom.
Ibrahim, who is the founder of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO),
Initiative for the Awareness of Cancer in Women (IACW), was said to have
left Gwarinpa about 7:15p.m. for Kubwa in a taxi, but she never got
home.
A family source, who simply gave his name as Prince Abdulkarim, said
on the phone that the family had been waiting to no avail to see her or
to hear from her abductors.
