Cleric ‘murdered’ for indiscriminate defecation

A cleric, Adekunle Adeyemi, was at the weekend reportedly murdered at Olorunsogo area of Ondo in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State for allegedly defecating in an uncompleted building in the town. 

Adeyemi, a shepherd in charge of one of the white garment churches, was said to have on the fateful day while returning from a church programme allegedly defecated in an abandoned property located on the street.
A neighbour, according to a source, was said to have challenged the deceased for defecating indiscriminately in the area. This development was said to have infuriated the late pastor, which later resulted into a scuffle between the two men. The pastor was said to have later rushed to his house and brought out a bell apparently to curse his challenger and residents, who also challenged him for defecating in the area.
The source said it was at this point that Adeyemi slumped. The source said the deceased was rushed to a private hospital in the area, before he was later transferred to the Ondo State Specialist Hospital in the community, where he was confirmed dead by the doctors.
