Care worker jailed for 10 years for filming herself sexually abusing patients as old as 101 and sending the footage to her boyfriend

Christina Sethi, from Torquay, has been jailed for ten years after filming herself sexually abusing patients as old as 101

A care worker who filmed herself sexually abusing patients as old as 101 before sending the footage to her boyfriend has been jailed.
Christina Sethi, 25, from Torquay, assaulted three vulnerable patients while working as a night shift carer at the Devon care home.

A court heard how she then sent the sickening videos - one of which was seven-and-a-half minutes long - to her boyfriend, knowing he would find them 'sexually gratifying'.
Among her victims were two women - one of whom had dementia - and one male whom she 'specifically targeted because he would not recollect the assault.'
Sethi, described by police as 'depraved and manipulative', has now been jailed for ten years after admitting five offences of sexual assault. The offences took place between January 2014 and May 2015.
Jailing Sethi, Recorder Richard Stead said she had 'degraded and humiliated the victims' and also brought carers' reputations into disrepute.
He said: 'The abuse of trust was woeful and exposed everyone's worse fears about placing their loved ones in care.
