The Police Special Fraud Unit on Tuesday arraigned a blogger, Seun Oloketuyi, for allegedly defaming the Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank, Nnamdi Okonkwo, by publishing that Okonkwo impregnated one Justina, a married woman working in the marketing department of the bank.
Oloketuyi, who was arraigned on two counts of malicious defamation, was accused of further publishing that the alleged affair between Okonkwo and Justina led to Justina’s husband, Ben, sending her out.
Oloketuyi was accused of publishing that Okonkwo had taken over the responsibility of Justina’s children and had sent her abroad to further her education.
The police, however, said it investigated a petition written by Okonkwo, following which they found out that Oloketuyi published the story to maliciously defame Okonkwo.
