It was weeping and wailing at the home of Mr Samuel Ogunlusi, a
newspaper distributor at Oshodi, Lagos, over the loss of his 25-year-old
son, Olusegun Ogunlusi.
Segun, as he was fondly called, was shot dead
on Monday, last week by yet-to-be-identified gunmen in his hostel in
Jos, the Plateau State.
The deceased, a graduate of Sociology, was doing his National Youth
Service in Akwa Ibom State but returned to his school, the University of
Jos (UNIJOS) to collect some documents. But in the night, gunmen
invaded the off-campus hostel he was staying and opened fire on the
students.
