An Ado Ekiti Customary Court on Monday dissolved the marriage of the Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Chief Idowu Faleye, and his wife of 28 years, Olajumoke.
The union was blessed with two children; Toyin, 27 and Dupe, 24.
Delivering judgment in the suit filed by Faleye, the President of the court, Joseph Ogunsemi, held that the union had collapsed beyond reconciliation.
He held that the evidence by Faleye was unchallenged and incontrovertible as the respondent did not appear in court to give contrary evidence.
