Man stabs friend to death

A 21-year-old man, Kunle Akinyemi, has been stabbed to death by his friend during a brawl at Okitipupa in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State. 

The cause of the fight was yet to be ascertained at press time. A source said the victim was stabbed in the chest by his attacker who is said to be on the run. 
It was also gathered that Akinyemi was rushed to the State Specialist Hospital, Okitipupa but gave up the ghost when medical personnel were trying to treat him.
The police are currently probing the cause of the fight which led to the victim’s death. 
A police source disclosed that about 11:30pm on that fateful day, one Ajeleso Akinyemi came to the police station in company with one Femi Akinyemi to report that his son, Kunle Akinyemi, was stabbed on the chest. 
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Wole Ogodo, who confirmed the incident, said the police had launched a manhunt for the culprit.
