Air Force condemns Cadets locking man in car booth



 The Nigerian Air Force  condemns the action of the two cadets, Peters O. Solomon and Abdullahi Fahad, who locked an artisan, Dahiru Lawal in their car booth for allegedly breaking a car windscreen.

 Lawal was rescued by Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.
According to the cadets, Lawal broke the windscreen of their Chrysler Stratus car at the Mile 12 area of Lagos State and attempted to escape. They caught him, dragged him on the ground and dumped him in the booth of their car.
In a statement, signed by the Air Officer Commanding, Air Vice marshal (AVM), M. A. Muhammed, the Air Force said preliminary investigation revealed that the accused persons are serving Nigerian Air Force personnel.

The statement further states: “The leadership of Nigerian Air Force will like to make it absolutely clear that the Service does not condone this kind of behavior. We clearly understand our responsibilities to the public; therefore, as soon as the airmen are handed over to the Nigerian Air Force by the Police, we shall conduct the appropriate judicial process.”
