Abductors of two Reverend Fathers of the Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku in Delta State have reportedly demanded N100 million to free the clerics. 

T he abductors were said to have opened discussion with some parishioners, including some of victims’ colleagues, demanding N50 million for each cleric.
The victims, Fr. Franklyn Odiaka, who is the parish priest of Catholic Church of Assumption, Zappa Parish in Asaba and Fr. Moses Nwanochei, were abducted by gunmen at Obior in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state while returning from a ceremony in honour of the Bishop of the Diocese, Most Rev. Michael Elue.
