suspected drug traffickers have been arrested by men of the National
Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with 500 grams of cocaine in Ondo,
Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Commander, Mohammed Sokoto, who briefed journalists about the activities
of the command for 2015 at the command state headquarters in Akure,
how-ever, refused to give further details about the suspects on the
grounds that they were being prosecuted in court.
He said: “Right now, we have a lot of surveillance on going in some
places where we have pocketed some smokers and users of this cocaine.
“We have arrested two persons in connection drugs and the suspects
were arrested in Ondo. As soon as they are convicted, we will let you
know.” The NDLEA boss also disclosed that the command seized about
113,305, 305,844kgs of cannabis sativa between January and December.
