A Federal High Court in Abuja Thursday morning ordered the immediate release of the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice Adeniyi Ademola, who gave the order, said it was illegal for the Department of State Services (DSS) to still be holding Kanu after an order of the court to free him.
It is his arrest last month that has further stoked the embers of the Biafra movement, especially in the South-Eastern part of the country.
