A good number of children were among hundreds of people killed on Saturday after the dreaded Boko Haram attacked some villages in Borno and Yobe states.

The attack on Borno State   was on a military base at the fishing community of Baga, near Lake Chad.
The force is made up of troops from Nigeria as well as Niger and Chad.
Residents scampered in different direction to avoid being mowed down by the sect members.
The soldiers in the base were caught unawares   by the insurgents.
A resident said: “They did not spare anybody as they shot at men, women and even children who were fleeing into the bush.”
On Thursday, the sect abducted 40 youths in Malari. They were believed to have been taken to taken to a location called Modube, a new base of the sect close to the notorious Sambisa forest.
As the Boko Haram continues to kill women and children, the Nigerian government continues blindly in political campaigns as the 2015 election approaches. The corpses continues to increase and pile.
