A 85-year-old man yesterday was beheaded at the Oredo Local Government Area
of Edo State by unknown killers and his head taken away.

Goodluck Uwumahongie was found where it was dumped.
Residents said Uwumahongie was
murdered because of a protracted land dispute in the area.
Homicide detectives are working
to unravel the mystery behind the killing.
The police said that his killers shot him several times before they cut off his
head. The police said the killers took Uwumahongie’s head away.
