Secondary school girl, father caught trying to smuggle bomb into school

A secondary school girl and her father have been caught trying to smuggle bomb into the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Jalingo, Taraba State.

The girl, Blessing, was arrested with her father in possession of a cache of explosives they wanted to smuggle into the school.
According to Tribune, the attempt was foiled as the school internal security operatives were conducting the conventional stop and search of luggage of all returning students.
The explosives were uncovered securedly concealed in her bag of garri.
