Expired condiments found in Lagos factory

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has discovered an illegal factory loaded with various expired condiments. 
The condiments were revalidated and changed to a popular brand name to attract patronage.

The agency also arrested a 24-year-old man, Mr Victor Okeke, in connection with the expired products worth millions of naira. This is sequel to a special raid and enforcement operation in some markets in Lagos by NAFDAC’s Investigation and Enforcement Directorate.
The factory, which was originally a one-room shop, was used to stock and revalidate expired food products, particularly food condiments.
