I received 57 gunshots, says Former NSCDC CG

The outgone Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Dr. Ade Abolurin, has revealed that he was petitioned 20 times and was shot at 57 times because he chose to serve God as the boss of the corps.
Abolurin, who revealed this at a Thanksgiving organised for him in Abuja, added that over one thousand unused bullets were also recovered from the attackers sent to kill him when he travelled to Plateau to serve other Nigerians.
Speaking, the former NSCDC CG, who began his remarks with a song that Jesus will soon come back, told the congretation that many people have said many things about what he had done but forgot to speak about the efficacy of prayers in his life.
He revealed that he did not know the meaning of bomb until he was on official assignment to Plateau State on that fathful day, when two grenades were thrown into his car while on another occasuibs guns were pointed at him but non of the bullets were able to penetrate into him.
