Police in Enugu State are investigating the circumstances surrounding the
killing of a couple, Mr Marel Abah and his wife, Jacintha, in their sleep.
The incident occurred on Monday at Amaja in Igboeze North Local Government
Area of Enugu State. Amaja is a border town between Enugu and Benue states.
It was gathered that about 2am on that fateful day, armed men operating under
the cloak of heavy rain entered the couple’s house located in an isolated part
of the town and slashed their throats.
