IG applauded over Falae’s rescue

A security analyst, Mr. Folorusho Atta, has applauded the swift response of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase and his men, towards the kidnap of Chief Olu Falae.

According to Atta, the swiftness with which Falae was rescued by the police showed the force was capable of rivaling any force in the world if the necessary logistics and good welfare packages were provided for the personnel.

Atta also commended the approval of N70 million by President Muhammadu Buhari, for the celebration of the country 55th Independence Anniversary was not only commendable, but worth the president efforts in addressing corruption.

He said: “In the past, that amount would not be sufficient for toothpicks, let alone tissue papers, banners, decorations, foods, musicians, Actors/Actresses etc. Buhari has, through his actions, proved that he believed in prudent spending.”
