Man arrested for attempting to defile his nine-year-old daughter

A 73-year-old Man, Agidi Omolola has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for attempting to defile his nine-year-old daughter in Ijare in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state.

A Police source told reporters that the suspect invited his daughter into his room last week and reportedly removed her underwear, attempting to have canal knowledge of her.

However, he was caught by the elder brother of the little girl who quickly raised an alarm that drew the attention of passersby to the scene.

It was learnt that immediately the suspect was caught, the case was reported at the Ijare Police Station where a team of detectives was mobilised to the scene.

The suspect, on his arrest was moved to the police station where he was interrogated and subsequently detained.
