The Airport Command of the Nigerian
Police Force on Thursday said preliminary investigations had revealed
that the Lagos airport stowaway arrested on Wednesday lives in Anambra.
The police also gave the name of the stowaway as Festus Chikelube.
The suspect was nabbed inside the tyre
compartment of a Ghana-bound Medview Airlines plane parked at the tarmac
of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two.
The police said the suspect had
travelled by road from Anambra State to Lagos before finding his way
into the airport through its perimeter fence.
