15 injured as hoodlums attack Ayefele

At least 15 persons were injured when some suspected hoodlums attacked the musical band of a popular musician, Yinka Ayefele, at Ijare in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State at the weekend.

Ayefele escaped death by a whisker when the hoodlums went on the rampage and vandalised his vehicles and musical instruments.
His band boys were, however, not as lucky as they were beaten severely when the hoodlums discovered that their leader had escaped from the scene of a party in the town.
The hoodlums complained that Ayefele got N3 million to perform at the party but “did not drop anything for the boys in the town”.
It was learnt that 15 persons were wounded as the hoodlums vent their anger on those invited to a burial ceremony held on Odo Oja Street.
Ayefele was in the town to perform at the burial of the 85-yearold Madam Ebunoluwa Lydia Odumakinde.
He was reportedly smuggled out of the town as the hoodlums went wild.
