We can win war on corruption, insecurity, just as we defeated Ebola-Jonathan

Jonathan promises to fight corruption, insecurityPresident Goodluck Jonathan yesterday said Nigerians can win the war against corruption, insecurity, just as they defeated the Ebola virus, if Nigerians team up.

He said at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, during the New Year church service.
He said: “I have realised that for you to achieve anything, you must have a clear vision. If you look at what we have been doing as a nation, the nation used to have a 25 year national rolling plan, which formed the basis upon which budgets were made, but things have collapsed and we ran government on emergency basis. But things have started improving and we will go back to the good old days. “Nigerians talk about corruption and terrorism. We are doing everything to end this scourge. It is not about arresting one person and parading him on the television; but strengthening institution so that we will be able to check this. This is what we are doing,
“Just like we won the war against Ebola we, will win the war against these challenges.”
One question..is he talking as the president of a troubled country or a politician seeking second term?
