Police have arraigned 57 men, who ages range from 30 to 60, before
Kano Magistrates’ Courts for rape and sodomy. One of them was accused of
defiling 10 minor boys.
The prosecution counsel, S. O. Ekwe, said there were enough evidences
against those brought before the court, although the police, he
disclosed, were still investigating the cases.
The 57 men were arraigned before Magistrates’ Court 18 presided over
by Justice Idiris Muhammad and Magistrates’ Court 6 presided over by
Chief Magistrate Fatima Adamu. The rape and sodomy cases were adjourned
till December 2.
