Robbers raid 30 houses in Lagos

It was anguished and sorrows as daredevil armed robbers yesterday reportedly raided about 30 houses at Agbotikuyo area of Agege, Lagos State and stole valuables, household items and cash.


 It was learnt that the robbers, numbering about 20, held the residents hostage for several hours while shooting sporadically.
The robbers were not challenged by security agents as the residents. It was gathered that the residents could no longer sleep after the men of the underworld left, while those whose houses were raided by the robbers were said to be counting there losses. 
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Joe Offor, could not be reached for comment as his phone was switched off.
